CARBINE

Carbine Level 1:

  • The Firearm Safety Course teaches the knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a firearm safely.

  • This course is 4 hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a carbine-long gun.

  • Students will learn how to choose a firearm, learn rules for safe handling, parts, and operation, types of ammunition, shooting fundamentals, shooting positions, clearing malfunctions, cleaning the firearm, types of accessories; and continued opportunities for skill development.

  • You will train with a variety of types of firearms which will help you to make an informed decision about what to look for when you are ready to purchase.

Class fee includes instruction, a basic firearm safety manual, use of firearms, targets, ammunition, a completion certificate & range fees.

  •  300 rounds of ammunition

  •   Semi-Auto Rifle

Carbine Level 2:

  • The Carbine Course teaches the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a rifle for the protection of self and family, and provides information on the law-abiding individual right to self-defense.

  • A review of safe firearms handling, firearms and the law, strategies for inside the home safety, strategies for outside the home safety, creating the defensive mindset, defensive shooting skills, responsible use of a rifle for self-defense from concealment and multiple shooting positions.

  • The course also teaches students the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and techniques that are needed to prevail while responding to a life-threatening confrontation.

  • The intent of this course is to teach the student the use of the rifle in close-range, high-speed scenarios as encountered in self-defense situations.

  • The emphasis of this course will be the rapid employment of the rifle while maximizing the use of cover.

  • After the classroom portion, students should expect to shoot approximately 200 - 300 rounds of ammunition on the range. Students have the opportunity to attend this course using a quality strong side hip retention holster that covers the trigger.

  • Types of slings and optics

  • This course is 4 hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a semi-auto rifle.
